6/11/2019 Printer Apprentice

Heidi and I are taking our roles as printer apprentices seriously. We still had a couple of failed prints on the older printer. We're not entirely sure what is causing the problem. The new one is working great though.

The Prius went out for a short 2-day rental. It seems hardly worth it for how much 2 days earns.

Lauren came over to join us in our afternoon swim. Gram, Papa and Becca B joined us as well.

6/10/2019 David Goes to Camp

This morning David left for the Young Men Super Activity. Notwithstanding his non-smile in this photo, he actually seemed excited to go. He didn't even cry the night before.

This afternoon, Gram, Papa and Becca B joined those of us who didn't go camping in the pool. The temperature in the water has finally reached pleasant by grown-up standards. (Heidi still thinks it's a little on the cool side.)

6/9/19 Mesa South Stake Conference Behind the Scenes

This morning, the kids all sat close together for our family Sunday School lesson.

At Stake Conference, I saw some familiar faces in the crowd.

Sarah and TJ sang a special number with the Primary Choir. The song is called "Choose Him Again". They sounded great.

David ran cameras 3-5 during Conference.

He and Rebecca helped close the protective cameras on the boxes.

It turned out to be a little higher and scarier than Rebecca was expecting but she bravely finished what she started.

The kids were having fun together so I had to snap a shot of them. They are good friends.

After Stake Conference was the first meeting of the Youth Conference Counsel. Bob Wilstead and I were in charge of the ice breaker activity. I think that the kids had fun doing it together.

6/8/2019 Daddy Daughter Day Dos (aka 2 in Alliteration)

Matt's Ward provided pancakes and sausage for breakfast.

The girls had never seen an egg toes competition before. Sarah said, "Oh, like a balloon toss". Yes, but messier.

Rebecca loved it.

She and I did well in the second round and won the third round. Above is a picture that my friend Ephraim Temple took of the winning throw.
Under the heading of "It's a Small World", Ephraim went to the University of Hawaii at the same time that I did. We used to hang out together at the Institute of Religion. It was great getting a chance to catch up a little bit.

Along the way home, we stopped and took a selfie at the Mogollon Rim. Pretty sure it's my first time using a Selfie Stick. Thanks to Gram and Papa for letting us borrow the Action Cam.

Sarah and Rebecca and I had fun playing Ukulele together (but not me while driving).

Back at home, it was time to get back to work helping with Stake Conference.

David has been teaching Heidi how to troubleshoot his 3D Printer so that she can keep them running while he is at camp. We haven't worked out what her compensation should be ;)
