1/31/19 New reflectors and a Bike Ride

Today the reflectors that I bought for Digital Imaging arrived.

Peter helped me try them out.

Later we went on a bike ride. Jack Hinton joined us. This is his first time riding without training wheels.

1/30/19 First Photo Safari

Today I took my Digital Imaging Class on our first ever Photo Safari. We went to Pioneer Park.

Heidi hung the Ohana home sign that she created.

Today is day two of Primary Boy's Softball.

1/29/19 Primary Boy's Softball

Papa and I fixed the handle on the screen door of the motorhome.

It's time for Primary Boy's Softball. This is Joseph's first time. Papa kindly took the two boys and let them pick out ball gloves they could use as they played. 

After softball, we had Pack Meeting.

1/28/19 Family Home Evening Treats

The Cubs need these for a crafty project. Peter is showing off the donations received thus far.

We made this chart during FHE as a way to prioritize activities.

Heidi baked cake mix in ice cream cones.

It was a hit.

1/27/19 Bored Choir Member

This young fellow was in the choir today. During one of the talks he got bored and started reaching over to see if he could get his hand into the shot with the speaker. We zoomed in and panned left. Eventually, during the rest hymn, we had the adult sitting on his left trade places with him. Problem solved. Points for creating a problem that we had not seen before.

1/26/19 Tree Removal, Stake Conference and Rube Goldberg Competition

This is our neighbor. Papa joined the Elder's Quorum helping removed a dead tree from his yard.

I got to help set up for Stake Conference

Rebecca, David, and Isaac Merrill won the Rube Goldberg contest.

1/25/19 Connelly/Mangum Temple Trip Plus an Old Friend

One of Grandpa Mangum's longtime friends came to visit. His friend actually introduced him to Heidi's mom.

1/23/19 Bear Cubs Up a Tree

The Bear Cub Scouts love climbing the tree in our front yard. They do it before checking to see if we are home before Cub Scouts.

Today we did a service project. 

We picked up trash in the neighborhood.

We also moved downed branches in a neighbor's yard.

1/22/19 Handy Heidi

Heidi fixed a toilet today.

Here is the new faucet Heidi just installed.

Heidi cut these two boards into paddle shape. She is very skilled. :)

1/21/19 Hole in the Rock and Little Rascals

Heidi swapped out the faucet that has dripped at the base when using it since we moved in.

No more leak! Yay!

Jojo had to have the tooth he got a crown on two months ago pulled. Heidi talked them out of charging us $250 for the privilege.

We hiked the Hole in the Rock with Matt and Heather and families. Grammie and Grandpa Mangum even came and cheered from the bottom. We did a little picnic with everyone before the hike. It's a very short hike.
