Homework Time

Today it is cold and wet outside.  Ganon is home from school, but he and I both have homework to do.  David decided that it was time for him to do his homework, too.  He got out his laptop and typed his name.  Rebecca wanted to join in, so we got her pretend keyboard and mouse out.  They had lots of fun doing homework together.  If only our real homework was fun, too.

  1. I must admit that these are very talented children and of course I am not one bit prejudiced. We love them to pieces.

  3. Oh how things change. In my grandmother's youth she was excited to get her very own slate to practice her writing on. They told me at Disneyland in 1958 that the future was going to happen in 1975. I thought that by then we would have the personal computer. I started doing my genealogy "homework" in 1973 and all I had was a typewriter and an eraser. When my children were little they only had paper and pencil. They did start using computers as soon as they were available which turned out to be 1984. I am glad that David can spell his name on his computer. It seems only right.
