David and Rebecca have lots of fun together. They love running around. David is also very competitive (I don't know where he gets that from). Since running around outside is a risk to life and limb right now, we've had to improvise. This is a fun video of the kids running around the rocking chair. David will run as long as someone is counting, and Rebecca is learning to follow in her brother's footsteps. It is also a fun way to help David with his counting skills.
I told Gram that this is our live model of a mini solar system. The chair represents the sun and David and Rebecca are the two planets in (some what) circular orbits.
ReplyDeleteWell some orbits aren't circular so close enough, I think that David must take after his Dad. His Dad loved to have people count for him. Then he loved to count before he jumped. Look fast if you hear "two, three" because Ganon was about to leap off something and is expecting you to catch him. Now if he does that better get out of his way instead of trying to catch him.
ReplyDeleteDeja vu all over again. We had a boy who would do laps around the parked car as long as someone would count. Then we would show him which direction to throw his rocks. Busy boy!
