2/9/18 Grandparent Day, Pizza and Preparation

Today was Grandparent Day at Freedom Academy. This meant that Papa and Becca B were able to visit with TJ and Joseph during lunch at school.

Unfortunately, Gram was not feeling well enough to attend. Still, I know that the boys felt the love of their grandparents during this visit.

Today I was feeling enough better to be able to take Peter on a short walk. He really needed some time outside and it was worth it even if I still wasn't 100%.

This evening Heidi and the girl's picked up pizza. It still feels like a special treat when we get to have pizza.

After dinner, Heidi went over to the Stake Center to help get set up for Stake Women's Conference.

Heidi has been gathering glass vases from friends for days. The set up was involved but they let her come home at a fairly reasonable hour. I'm proud of her example of giving selfless service.

  1. In the controlled chaos of an elementary school cafeteria it wasn't easy to make contact with our lunch dates. TJ is in 2nd grade and Joseph is in Kindergarten. The various grades come into the cafe in shifts and scatter among the tables with their lunches. Eventually B&I had a fun adventure w the boyz and Josephs friend Emily
