TJ is a special birthday for TJ. Not only is it his Golden Birthday (turning 8 on the 8th) he has also reached the age of accountability. That means he is old enough that he knows between right and wrong and choose to be baptized. One of our family traditions is that when you are 8 you are old enough to care for your own set of scriptures.
We teamed up with the Grandparents to help TJ have his own set of scriptures. Gram Connelly bought him a little hymn book.
Papa Connelly got him a Triple Combination, Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price and Doctrine and Covenants.
Grammie and Grandpa Mangum got him a Bible (Old and New Testament).
Heidi and I bought him a case to hold it all together. TJ was very excited and carried the set on the handlebars of his bike to church. We are proud of how responsible he is becoming. He is a big helper and a sweetheart. Happy Birthday, TJ!
Gram feels that a dose of TJ and brother Joseph is better than a multi vitamin for invigorating and cheering her up
