We recently received an invitation in the mail to attend the Mesa Academy Awards with Rebecca.
We waited, in anticipation, as several children's names were read. The letter nor the program gave a hint at the award Rebecca would be receiving.
Finally, the announcer read her name as part of the President's Gold Level Honor Roll. Rebecca has worked very hard to earn this distinction this year. She knows that it takes more than being bright to get good grades. It takes hard work and that is what she has done. Way to go Rebecca! We are so proud of you!
Congrats to our Golden Scholar! We know it was accomplished through high anxiety and very hard work (and not a few tears)
