6/1/18 Girl's Camp Day 3

Today was National Donut Day. Papa treated the family to celebrate. David, TJ, and Joseph did a great job helping pick the donuts. They even remembered Heidi's favorite kind.

Heidi and Rebecca continued having a great experience at camp.

Rebecca had a chance to deepen friendships.

Sarah first helped me with the monthly grocery shopping trip this morning. She was a treat to hang out with. Very fun. Then she went to a friend's birthday party/service project at Feed My Starving Children.

They made meals for children in the Philippines.

Rebecca at the archery range.

Heidi even scored a bullseye!

Sarah's big goal for a while now has been to run a lemonade stand.

Today was the day we made it happen. There was a lot of work to do, making lemonade and cleaning up the stand. She worked like a champ even in the Arizona heat.

She enlisted some happy helpers. Here's TJ with a sign.

Joseph also withstood the heat to lend his smile to the campaign.

Here is Rebecca with her friend Judy Hinton. They were good buddies at camp. Sadly, the camp was cut short by a night and a morning by an outbreak of lice. Gratefully, Rebecca was spared lice but the girl's missed testimony meeting and Bishop's night. Hopefully, they still had time to feel the Spirit. A makeup testimony meeting is anticipated.

A surprise today was a gift from Michael and Jessica Hallsted. Today is his 3-year work anniversary and they wanted to say "thank you". What a nice treat.
