Today Brother Postert and Brother Lewis made sure to remember Becca B on her Birthday. They brought her a card and this fun balloon. They are very thoughtful ministers.
Today the Stake put on an Ice Cream Social and Talent Show. We joked that it was nice of them to plan a party for Becca B's birthday. They did sing the happy birthday song to her. Also, as a family, we sang Timothy James and played the ukuleles for our talent. Last year only a few participated. This year many more did. Several talents seemed unpremeditated. They were people who saw what others had done and wanted to share. It was a fun, friendly atmosphere.
Among the games and dances played was the limbo.
The kids had fun.
Becca B was into it.
It made me feel a little bit old, but it was still fun.
Becca felt very recognized and honored on this her birthday (she says she’s now “34 and in the 8th grade)
