This morning we finished packing up for the reunion. Heidi fit in time to fix a problem with a tail light on the van.
After a stop at Grammie and Grandpa Mangum's house, we all headed up to Kohl's Ranch. It took about 2 hours, maybe a little less.
One of our first activities was Family Home Evening. Heidi estimates that it's been 13 years since all the Mangum children have been in one place at the same time.
Chris gave a great lesson about heroes of the Book of Mormon and the importance of reading it every day.
After the lesson, we had a funny activity where Doug, Aaron, and Chris wore shower caps. Heather put shaving cream on the caps and the rest of us tried to toss cheese puffs into the shaving cream. It was pretty silly but cleaned up pretty fast.
FHE made for a spiritual start to the family reunion.
