5/8/17 Random Acts of Kindness

A friend of Heidi's shared a video about simple acts of service that we can do with our kids. So we decided to try it for FHE.

We started by picking up trash at the park near our house. Then, since it is trash night we took out about ten cans for our neighbors. Lastly we trimmed some stray branches on Heather's tree for her. The best part was that the kids had a blast doing it. I had fun watching them. The goal was to help them practice thinking of people beyond themselves. I hope it helps them. I know I felt better about myself having taken some time to serve.
