7/14/18 Service and Shopping

Today we got to do some service for Grammie and Grandpa Mangum. In this shot, I am climbing into the attic to trace where the duct from the dryer leads. There was a theory that it dead-ended in the attic.

It turns out that is not true but we did find that the hose they have is too long and not the right shape. David climbed back there, like a champ, and hooked things up. The extra length causes it to kink back there and could explain why the dryer hasn't been drying well.

After that, we went to two Goodwill stores. The goal was to find possible gifts for two upcoming events. The kids found plenty of possibilities but we settled on a few.

Peter loved his ride with the stuffies.

Later, we tried out a discount grocery store that we just heard about. They do have some great deals. We bought some school supplies and canned food while we were there.

The kids were fairly well behaved, especially with how long lunch was delayed. They are a fun crew and I am pleased that I feel comfortable taking them along when we go places. It is more fun to go as a family.
