Today Rebecca turned 12!. Heidi and I can hardly believe it. She's growing up so fast. Here she is outside the Primary room. She has now graduated to Young Women. Bishop had her stand up front during Sacrament meeting and announced her graduation. At first, he said that she was moving to the Miamaid class. For those who may not know this is the 14 and 15 year old class. Rebecca had a cute face when Bishop misspoke. He later corrected himself and announced that she is joining the Beehive class. Heidi and I are still not completely sure that we are ready but, ready or not, here we go!
Heidi spotted this cute moment at church of Peter, walking with his good buddy Joseph.
David also had some significant moments today. He also stood up at the front during Sacrament. The congregation agreed with Bishop that David is ready to be advanced to the office of a Teacher. He'll be having his 14th Birthday this week. Now he is ready to be ordained next Sunday.
This two of them also had interviews for a special use Temple recommend so that they can do Baptisms for the Dead at the Temple.
Joseph, TJ, and Peter did not want to be left out of the picture taking.
This evening Rebecca received a cool pyramid Rubix type puzzle from Gram and Papa. She also got a pretty notebook from her Mom and Dad.
Rebecca has long been behaving as a responsible teenager, often lovingly babysitting her siblings. So it is no surprise to her grandparents that she’s is now a 12yr old Beehive!
