Today Rebecca and Sarah looked super cute in matching outfits from their Grammie Mangum.
This evening, our last with Nate visiting, Gram Connelly planned out a play reading. A. A. Milne's version of The Ugly Duckling. Nate was excited to play the part of the handsome (not so handsome) Prince. There was some discussion about the casting of the other parts. Some of the kids were nervous about certain parts.
Once we got going though I think that we all had fun. Nate had a great Scottish/Irish brogue that brought a smile to each line of dialogue that he shared. In the end, we all lived happily ever after.
When Nate was saying his goodbyes to Gram he made a point of telling her how much fun the Ugly Duckling play was for him and he thanked her for going to so much trouble to give everyone that new experience
