7/1/16 A Tree and a Museum

This morning we stopped by Gram and Papa's so Sarah could water the tree. The little cactus appears to be growing.

This evening we went to an event that David let us know about. The Phoenix Children's Museum had a "free first Friday" event. Amoung other exhibits they have this huge "tree house".

The kids liked the flying bath tub.

Here is the view from above.

Here are David, Joseph and TJ about to race cars on what looked like a fancy pinewood derby track.

Here are Rebecca, Sarah, TJ and Peter in front of a giant dog statue in front of the museum.
On the whole the event went better then rollerskating. The kids had fun and nobody got lost for too long. Another high light was the "pool noodle forest". They had a bunch of pool noodles hung on strings that the kids could walk through. The kids loved it. Hopefully this will be a fun memory for the kids.

  1. Oh Sarah, our faithful gardener, look at our prosperous tree and cactus ‼️ Mahalo. Two great phrases re museum experience: "better than roller skating" and "nobody got lost for too long". Spoken like a loving Dad of six
