Today David completed the final stage of the "doing" part of his Eagle Project.
His friend Lincoln joined him to help deliver the 84 appliances and $145 to Lifting Hands International. They are a group that helps furnish apartments for refugees who are starting from scratch in a new country.
I did not catch the name of the lady in charge who officially accepted his donation.
Here is David walking through the warehouse where they have things like blankets, furniture, cleaning supplies and, of course, small appliances.
How did David follow up his Eagle Project? By helping plant grass for his grandparents. Love this great kid. Rebecca and Sarah also came and helped by picking weeds.
Heidi's brother Matt also came along and was a big help. His wife Sharon was a great sport and let TJ, Joseph and Peter stay at their house and play with Alex.
David is truly doing a "good turn" with this great project
