Today all the Stakes in the US Southwest region had a special Regional Conference. I was on the tech crew. The switcher that the Stake owns is still on the fritz. I was pretty stressed trying to figure out how to get enough video signals solid enough to show the English, Spanish and Tongan feeds plus a camera or two. In the end we had to settle for one. We also had some audio issues with an overly loud microphone. Still, the Conference went well enough that people were able to focus on the talk. We were reminded of the importance of giving service. Elder Christopherson invited us re-read President Monson's most recent talks and to accept his invite to read the Book of Mormon Daily.
We appreciated being able to attend this conference being transmitted to a large number of states we don't usually group as "SW" such as Missouri. Texas was included and we heard about help that was given after the Houston floods. Mahalo to the behind the scenes tech crew
