This afternoon, for Cub Scouts we attempted building a Rube Goldberg type contraption. These are named after a comic strip that frequently featured elaborate machines for doing simple things. Here is a link to one example. We learned that our boys may not be ready for an activity of this complexity. We had trouble keeping them on task. Next time we'll do more activities that involve having them run around for no reason. That seems to be more their speed.
Our Cubs , (and the parents of running around boys) are blessed to have leaders like H&G. Thanks for magnifying your calling
