This morning I went over for meetings at the Empire offices. Shortly after I got back Steven the plumber came to install the sink for Gram and Papa. Sadly, the inexpensive model we found didn't drain properly. Fortunately we didn't return the more expensive one we purchased earlier. Steven will come back tomorrow to try again. Hopefully we have a better outcome tomorrow.
In the afternoon most of the kids entertained themselves by creating a blanket fort in the girl's room.
The highlight of the day was celebrating Gram and Papa's 52nd Wedding Anniversary. The kids made paper flowers and cards to give to their grandparents. We are so grateful to be close enough to celebrate these special moments with them.
Gramma was touched by these sweet keikis bringing to us personalized cards (one with handprints) and a bouquet of paper flowers. In this picture she is surrounded by her living flowersđź’–
