12/2/16 Progress At Gram and Papa's

Today we made progress on several items on Gram and Papa's home improvement checklist. Papa has been wanting to replace their aging screen door for some time. Odd to us the stores nearby don't carry them in stock. You'd think an area with so many park models would be more ready to serve them. So, on an earlier visit, a door was ordered and today it was in. Replacing the door required some fiddling with the screws and some liquid wrench before it opened and closed smoothly but eventually it was working better.
Heidi also worked on a clogged drain, replaced a burned out bulb in Rebecca's new heater and finished setting it up. I helped Papa print out copies of their Christmas letter, checked on the air filter and helped Gram finalize some DVDs. It felt like a good visit.
Joseph and Peter, in the picture above, have found the neighbor's porch swing. At one poInt Joseph saw that the door to Jimmy the cat's run was open and Peter went in. The space was too small for me to fit in so I had to talk him out. Peter came out when he was ready.
David gave service of his own by helping Mrs. McGee at Entz. She needed help installing software into the robot brains for a class challenge. David came home after lunch. He completed the robot challenge himself for fun.
After dinner tonight we watched Inside Out. Man that movie is a tear jerker. It also has humor and a surprising amount of advanced brain terminology. I was impressed by how well it held the kid's attention.
