1/15/17 Lone Man

This morning Heidi was called on to attend Ward Conference in Highland Ward. This left me alone to make sure that six kids got bathed and dressed for church. Heidi expressed her confidence "see if you can get most of them bathed". Well, it took some doing, and a couple of completely soaked towels but all six kids got bathed and dressed in church clothes. Peter was completely naked within a few minutes but I managed to find the clothes and get them back on him again before it was time for church. When it was time to go Heidi was not back yet so we loaded onto our bikes and headed out. I got a little nervous when, at five minutes to the start of the meeting, Heidi still hadn't caught up to us. Happily she joined us with about a minute to spare.
After church today it was raining. Since Heidi was there in the van we tossed some bikes and the bike trailer inside. Heather was kind and loaded 2 bikes and a scooter into her van. At the tail end of church Heidi had another Scoutbook training to do so I went home without her again. It was a happy moment when she finished up and joined us for dinner.
