9/11/17 What Stain?

Today we had a big job to do over at 430.

A while ago Heidi and I repaired the roof leak that caused a small stain on the ceiling in one room of the park model. I took this picture so that Heidi could buy the right stuff to redo the texturing.

First Heidi cleared away the loose material.

After a quick trip to the hardware store Heidi returned with a spray to do the job.

It was tough pulling solid focus in the dimly lit room but here you can see the work in process.

Next it was time to paint. I did most of the taping and Heidi did the detail work.

Peter was not too sure how he felt about all this. Happily, Papa and Becca B picked up lunch for us all. That made Peter happier.

Here is the part of the ceiling where the brown stain had been. It looks better to us. Heavenly Father blessed us to have just the right amount of paint for this job. Our new house actually had some paint left by the former owners. As we started the paint seemed to be absorbed very quickly. We worried that we would have to buy more. Then, as time wore on, the paint continued to last. It reminded us of Elijah and the widow with the food that last until the famine ended. We felt very blessed.
