Here we have Peter with a mashed potato maker club in one hand and a blender beater in the other. We routinely find our utensils around the house. Peter takes them from the drawer where they are kept and converts them into swords. Usually no real mayhem ensues. In fact here is the picture I took moments after the first.
On his own he decided to give his Mom a love. These boys are like this, a mix of tough and tender.
I had to be quick to capture this moment. Joseph decided to show his love for his brother by giving him a hug. The feeling is clearly mutual. I've noticed recently that, while we still get regular visits from Angry Joseph, we are getting a much larger number of moments with Sweet Joseph. This is a very welcome change. Heidi heard him say to Rebecca
"I want to be like you". Rebecca is a good one for him to follow. She is always giving loving service to her siblings (ok when she's not reading). She is even willing to put her book down when Peter wants her attention. We are blessed to have such loving children.
